Conch Fritters Bar & Grill Description

A local hangout famous for its island atmosphere, Conch Fritters has taken off with tourists because of its color-splashed and festive let's-have-a-party atmosphere. Go between Thursday and Sunday when there's a lively local band that gets everybody up to dance to a Caribbean beat; Saturday's the best of the best with a Junkanoo parade through the restaurant that will have even jaded kids joining in. Bahamian specialties like conch and fresh grilled fish are tasty and fresh, but there's also a good selection of burgers, sandwiches, steak, and ribs for fish-phobic kids.

Planning Notes

  • Good for sharing. The best value if you're hungry or splitting between kids is the chicken and ribs combination plate, which comes with two side dishes and a bread basket.

Just the Facts

What we loved:
excellent food very clean place

What we didn't love:
awesome burgers..the best

excellent place, very clean and friendly staff. the burgers are the best i ever had. The crack conch was great and the fresh conch salad excellent too. Very friendly and clean. This restaurant is across from the Hilton Hotel in a safe area just 5 minutes from the port. you can trust the food here at this restaurant , is very fresh. the waitress was very friendly during lunch time and dinner time. we had a great experience ,very hard to find friendly people in Nassau, usually they give the impression that they are mad and act nasty too.
