Fishing the Yellowstone River!

Last year, we had the opportunity to visit Yellowstone in April! It was fabulous. We saw more wildlife than you can imagine (the animals far out numbered the tourists), we took some great hikes (the mountain valleys were lush and green while there was snow on the mountain tops), we soaked in the Boiling River and much more.

Most all the Yellowstone roads were open when we were there so we were able to drive around and see much of the Park.

The accommodations within the Park are closed during April so we stayed outside the Park in a fabulous vacation home on the Yellowstone River! Our kids (and we) loved it. It was located on the Yellowstone River just North of the Park in Montana's Paradise Valley and featured all the comforts of home including wireless internet and a riverside hot tub! This spring, our children asked.. Can go and stay at the pretty house on the river by Yellowstone?" " We love it there!"
