Our trip to Yellowstone Park in winter 2008

My husband and I had the opportunity recently, to spend a weekend in Yellowstone Park in the middle of winter! What a fantastic trip!! We road a snow coach into the park. From the coach we could see bison, elk and some swans on the river. We came across beautiful waterfalls and "snow pillows" and geysers beyond belief! We stayed at the Yellowstone Snow Lodge where visitors on skiis and snowmobiles came and went on many adventures. We skiied in heavy snow among the geysers near Old Faithful, the quiet and peace shared only with bison in the distance! It was the most dreamy vacation I could have imagined!
