My fathers last angelic song

My favorite vacation moment was when our entire family of 30 vacationed in Northern Wisconsin at a State camp ground. It would be the last time that my dad Bill would join us. Bill was a wonderful father along with being an awsome singer. All of us would gather around the campfire and Bill would sing all of the wonderful Disney songs along with other tunes. He had the voice of an angel. As a youth Bill who grew up in the depression was invited to join the music conservatory, but coming from a family of 9 kids,and a father who painted for a living it was not possible for him to go on to school.
As fate would have it Bill was called to serve in WWII. He was known in the Air Force for his beautiful voice.
Bill never lost his passion to sing and shared it willingly with his family when ever he could. Shortly after this camping trip his heart failed him. The special memory I will always hold near and dear to me was his beautiful voice around that campfire, when nearby campers gathered to hear the angelic voice of my father. He now sings in heaven with the angels!
