Boys will be Boys...climbing a tree and scraping a knee!

My sons, Jacob now 5 and Braden now 4, were vacationing at their Great Aunt Alvira's house when they spotted a tree with limbs low enough to climb. They had enjoyed a day filled with running through the yard, up and down hills, pretend camping, and just doing fun things that little boys do. They have really wanted to climb a tree for awhile, however, all of the trees near us are extremely big and tall with no branches near the ground. As soon as they figured out that this tree was "climbable" they hopped right to it helping each other get onto the branches. Because this was the first tree that I ever climbed as a child, it made it more special because now my boys, about 26 years later, were able to experience the same joy of childhood!
