Waiting for Thanksgiving Dinner
My father-in-law was diagnosed with lung cancer from asbestos exposure in Oct 2007. My youngest daughter Kaitlyn's wish was to take Pap Pap to Disney World. Unfortunately his health would not allow that trip so we opted for a shorter trip to Williamsburg VA. My little girl got to spend a wonderful Thanksgiving weekend with her grandparents. Now as I see her holding his hand as he lies in his bed waiting to die I know that this one weekend will be cherished forever.
