One Family Home Alone

I was about 9 years old I am now 29 and my grandmother (Mapa) decided to take all of her grandchildren on a vacation. She took 16 grandchildren on the Big Red Boat. Parents had to pay for themselves so only my mother went with our family. We had Thanksgiving at my grandmothers the night before and we were flying out of Ohare the next morning. We received a phone call the next morning 30 minutes before the flight was going to take-off. Luckily, my mother is the most organized person in the world, so my dad through all of the bags in the family truckster and got us to the airport. I remember falling my siblings falling as we ran down the terminals, and when we final got to the plane everyone was screaming and cheering. The rest of the trip was great, I was just happy that we weren't the only family left at home.
