Sunset over Angel Canyon at Best Friends Animal Sanctuary

My boyfriend and I spent one weekend of one of our summer vacations at Best Friends Animal Sanctuary. Angel Canyon is beautiful and all of the animals there are wonderful! We had the opportunity to take two dogs for a sleepover and it was great. One of the dogs was shy at first, but we all had a great time running around the sanctuary and introducing the dogs to the horses. They were very curious! The dogs made themselves right at home in our cottage for the night. It was as if we had them forever. It was tough taking them back the next morning because we became so close and were brokenhearted when we left. Itâ¬"s amazing how you can touch an animalâ¬"s life in such a short time and how they can touch ours.
