Ski Jump

We still recount the story of our first family ski trip when I jumped from a lift. Our whole family was going up the mountain for the first time alone after our lesson. My husband and girls exited the lift very smoothly. As they waited for my chair lift, they watched in horror as I did not get off the lift, and the chair turned the corner to go back down the mountain. I knew I had messed up, so decided to jump from the lift...unfortunately, it was about a 10 foot drop. I landed in a crumpled mess and shut down the entire ski lift. Luckily, the only injury I received was was to my ego!
