Fun In The Sun

Our "Little Mermaids"

This past summer my husband and I took our 9 and 6 year old daughters on their very first beach vacation. We Went to Mustang Island, North Pdre Island, Tx. and had a blast ! At first the girls wrer a little apprehensive about the salty water getting in there eyes and of course they were't real happy about the sand in their swimsuit bottoms, but after they got over that ( which took all of 15 min. Ha!) Our little fish were off and it was smooth sailing from then on. Our oldest daughter loved body surfing with daddy and our youngest daughter Gracie and I had fun catching a big pretty blue crab that kept washing up the beach every time we would throw him back. Gracie just knew that was a sign that the crab should come home with us. We collected shells, built sandcastles, and just had fun at the beach. On the last day my husband and I took a break from the water and relaxed on the beach while watching the girls play. This was definately my favortie vacation moment, just watching our girls play without a care in the world like only sisters can do.
