Memories made in the mountains

lets take a rest

My husband and I have made it a point to go to the mountains at least once a year.We love the beauty and tranquility that they bring. This vacation was extra special,it was the first time we had taken our two girls Heather and Kelly(2&4).We spent most of our time hiking and exploring trails and waterfalls,picnics on river banks.The kids loved it! They got to see wild animals in there natural surroundings.We saw black bears,elk grassing at sunset,turkeys,deer,and all kinds of birds and other critters.Just to watch them enjoying and taking it all in,was the greatest moment for use.Not only did we give them a great time but we have also instilled in them the importance of conservation and the love of this wonderful world we live in that so many of us take for granted.
