Remembering my dad

I want my kids to make vacation memories too

I can remember as a child about 5 years old. We went on another wonderful mountain vacation to Tennessee. My family and I went to the nearest creek and went rafting. I had my hair in pigtails and I was wearing my yellow cookie monster bikini. My daddy would always hold on the raft so I wouldn't go to far. The water was always so cold but we loved it. It was in this same creek my dad lost his wedding ring while watching my sister and I play. Now that my father has past away and I have young children, we plan to take them to these same mountains and creek where I had fun vacations with my mom, dad, and my sister.
