"Sharing The Magic"

by rocco-family  March 31, 2008

this is where our Magic Began

Our first trip to Disney World was May, 2007 with our special needs Blessing Michael. Michaels early years were spent watching old Disney movies Snow White, Cinderella, Sleeping Beauty, Beauty and the Beast and The Little Mermaid. He developed a crush on these leasing ladies.br/br/The First time he saw the Castle, words cannot describe the look on his face. When he met the Princesses, he took on the personality of two of the seven drawfs, Bashful and Happy. He told them of their stories and how he was their prince and would sweep them away on his horse. br/br/The first day we arrived we were excited and by nighttime we were all exhausted. We forced ourselves to stay awake and see the fireworks at the Magic Kingdom. Michael was happy and tired when the fireworks started, he was scared by the loud noise and started to cry we were standing behind the castle and the fireworks were over our head, at that moment Magic Eddie a cast member, steped in and comforted our son by telling him, he too was sacared when he first heard the fireworks and found out that they are Magin, all Magic and gave Michael a cool sticker, just then, Michael calmed down immediately.br/br/The last night of our stay, we went back to the Magic Kingdom to see the fireworks for the last time. Michael witnessed a little boy crying because of the loud noise of the fireworks, with that, he became his "Eddie", he went to the crying boy and told him not to be scared it is "Just the Magic" Michael had stickers with him and gave one to the little boy. Eddies Magic became michaels Magic adnthe little boys Magic.br/br/Thanks Eddiebr/Thanks Walt, this is what you had in mind.br/Anna, Mike and Michael
