Hersheybar and me
One of our favorite moments was the very first time our daughter, then three, rode a "big kid" roller coaster. For her third birthday we took a trip to Hershey Park, home of the SooperDooperLooper. Zoie was just tall enough to ride it and talked about nothing else for weeks before the trip. When she first saw it, her eyes were enormous and I was afraid she would be scared of it. Was I ever mistaken! She practically dragged us on it. On the way up the first hill I tried to hold onto her leg, but she looked at me and said very calmly, "Im okay mommy, you dont need to hold onto me." As we rounded the corner at the top and thundered down into the loop, she positively beamed with excitement. She laughed the whole time. We mustve rode that coaster twenty times that day. Its still one of her favorites.
