Patch Family at DisneyLand Main Gate

It is 530 am and we are getting our hair french braided, with only a few hours of sleep we are off for the visit of a lifetime! The gates are enormous, the flowers are bright and beautiful, the crowds are amazing, I have my ticket in my hot little hand, where do I go first what do I want to ride the most. Suddenly I am off, standing in line, the Pirates of the Caribbean meets me with open arms, I sit next to my sister in the first row and we are off. Goose bumps are all over my arms and legs, the music is so soothing and then we see the pirate speak and next thing you know SWOOSH down we go, screaming laughing and wet with the waters great splash. Music song and dance with other pirate treasures greets us for the remainder of our ride. Twenty years later and I hastily reach the Pirates of the Caribbean ride with my son, Ethan, loving and cherishing while I sit in the front row with him as we take that first plunge into the most amazing and powerfully moving ride. Disney is a never ending enchantment; my next big adventure will be introducing my youngest, Isaiah, to his first ride at Disney Land, the Pirates of the Caribbean.
