We decided to try driving up the northern California coast into Oregon and vacationing in Oregon. The kids were in awe of the magnificent redwood trees along our drive and then we hit Oregon. What a sight to see! They have the most rugged and beautiful beaches and at the same time, we loved being in trees and forests. We rented a small house near the beach and every evening we would catch the most amazing sunset while playing games together. The kids keep begging to go back and we will try the drive-thru wild animal park near there. This truly was all of our favorite family vacation!
