It was my sons first trip to disney and first flight. Well, the flight was cancelled 10 mins before boarding due to mechanical problems. The next flight was 630 the next morning. Try telling the 6yo hes not going to see Mickey the day of his birthday. I had planned character breakfasts and dinners also the wake up call. As he stood there crying I got us on a flight. The last flight of the night on standby.br/br/We got there and his face lit up. Such gleams of happiness. Its 2am but hes enthralled trying to take everything in and were at the hotel!!! The next morning was breakfast at Chef Mickeys. br/He asked where we were going today and i replied Magic Kingdom. He gasped. All he wanted do was go to pirates of the carribean His favorite movie.br/br/We went on the ride. In the gift shop he bought a Capt Jack hat. I overheard one of the employees say Capt Jcak would be coming out!! I got excited but did not tell my son.br/br/We took a rest outside the ride. Capt Jack appeared. My sons mouth dropped. The look of surprised took over him he could not talk. As they picked the crew from the audience he was waving both hands up. His hero was in front of him. He wasnt picked. he was saddened. br/br/A little girl was scared and walked off. Well, Jack needs a full crew and finally picked him. That day will forever live in his heart as the day he met became a memeber of Capt. Jack Sparrows crew.br/br/When we arrived at home he told everyone he met Johnny Depp. So, excited and proud. Til this day he has no idea who that Capt was but it will always be Johnny Depp. He still talks about to today.
