I want to go in THERE!

by teddavis37@verizon.net  March 21, 2008

The best lunch ever.

Taking a 2-year-old to WDW can be a risky affair because you just never know how your child will react to the characters when they come face to face for the very first time. On our first day we had lunch reservations at the Crystal Palace and since it was about 95 degrees this was a welcomed escape from the heat. As we stood on the deck waiting for our table my son wandered over to the window to take a peek inside. Im not sure what he expected to see, but I can say that he was completely blown away. There was a momentary pause as his eyes locked onto Tigger and Piglet, followed by him frantically blurting, "I want to go in there! I want to go in there!" It took me a few minutes to calm him down and by that time we only had to wait a few more minutes to be seated and then to get Piglet over to our table. Im sure it felt like a lifetime for my son. As you can see from the picture, his very first meeting with Disney characters was a magical success.
