Humpty Dumpty Fun

One of our family's favorite funniest vacation moments was on a trip to Storyland N.H. in August 2007 with our two young boys, Shawn and Caleb. To prepare for our first trip to Storyland, we read a lot of the classic nursery rhymes/stories before we went for our vacation so that the boys would recognize some of the things we would see at Storyland. Our oldest son, Shawn, really loved the Humpty Dumpty nursery rhyme and wanted to meet Humpty Dumpty. He was so excited to see him when we got to Storyland. As we were getting ready to take our pictures with Humpty Dumpty, my husband was backing up to get close to Humpty Dumpty and before he knew it, he was up against the wall Humpty was sitting on and he fell right over! After he fell, he peeked over the wall and my son bursted out laughing and soon we were all rolling over having the best laugh!!!!! My son said, Daddy your the real Humpty Dumpty now. And, now his nickname, that he can't shake, is Daddy Humpty Dumpty!! My husband wants to shake this name so bad but it really seems to be sticking around so if we are able to take a trip to Disney - my husband is going to work really hard to get a new character name for himself - more than likely it would be Goofy! :o)
