We found the real "Chip and Dale"

We went camping this past summer at Mount Lassen National Park. We had a blast swimming, hiking, and learning about volcanoes. My six year old got the biggest kick out of the ground squirrels that were always trying to steal our food. A park ranger told us that they were the actual species of Chip and Dale, based on their markings. Every squirrel after that was named either "Chip" or "Dale"!
