Summer trip to the lake

On a hot July morning in 2007, as I was just finishing packing our car for a much deserved week long vacation to a beautiful lakeside cabin on secluded, White Earth lake in NW Minnesota, my Daughter, Amber (5) came storming out of the house yelling "DADDY! DADDY! are we going to Disneyland?" She has watched numerous commercials on NICKJR as well as other stations, and to put it simply "ENAMORED" every time she sees the magical kingdom! Nevertheless we had a magical time that week, swimming, fishing, roasting marshmellows, in a huge modern log cabin nestled deep in the woods with not much other then the wildlife interferring. Still to this day, even if it's just a trip to Boppa & Grandma's she assumes it's to Disneyland. One day it's going to be! If this happens to be our year of a million dreams, Amber, my son Noah (7) and my wife Kasi (35) (i'm sure she'd be delighted I included her age) would cherish our first Disney experience.
