Patrick The Starfish

In 2005 we took our daughters out on a fishing boat. My older daughter was nine at the time and wasnâ¬"t having much luck catching fish and was discouraged. My younger daughter who was four at the time was doing quite well. Just as the boat was about to head in for the day, my four year old caught a large flounder. It ended up being the biggest fish caught and she won the pool. My nine year old was trying very hard to be happy for her little sister but was very disappointed. But, everyone does get their day to shine because a few days later when my nine year old was out in the ocean, she felt something cling onto her leg and she pulled off a starfish. Quite a few people were wondering what was going on and came over to see the starfish she was holding. She named the starfish Patrick and took many pictures of it before releasing it back into the ocean. She was very excited to have caught such a find without even using a rod. Today she still has a picture of the starfish in her bedroom.
