First Beach Experience

My children, now 10, 8, and 5 unfortunately never had a vacation to the beach since they all suffer from a chronic lifelong disease called cystinuria-a disease process that causes them to form painful kidney stones and damage. Finances tend to be limited for us most of the time but 2 summers ago we put our foot down and somehow, by miracle only, took our 3 kids to Ocean City, Maryland. It was the best experience seeing their first time on the beach. When we got there in the evening we headed straight for the sand and water. They were so funny because they never walked on sand before and they were running so fast until their little feet hit the sand. then they turned into John Wayne(picking up one foot at a time really high). They got down to the water, jumped in, clothes on and all. Luckily I got it all on video. A moment to never be recreated!
