Our Family Vacation Summer 07

As a large family (6 children ranging in age from 27 to 3) there has never been a lot of money for extras like a real vacation. But as a family we have always made the very best of summer with homemade vacation days. We do great neighborhood kids cookouts with our little above ground pool, hot dogs, sunshine and fun. We also do local day long trips to the park for picnic play days, the zoo, the orchards and museums. We do a lot of crafts and family stuff and the kids have never complained. My husband and I decided that it was worth the loss of some extras to have me home with the younger 3 ( I worked with the older 3 full time) In looking for pictures the only one I have that is of the complete family is of my daughter Alyssa's beautiful backyard wedding last summer. That was also a family activity that included us all with planning, decorating, and cooking. I love my homemade vacation times!
