Favorite Vacation Moment

The Scream

Staci, her Scream was heard all around the park!

We took our kids on their first roller coaster ride, the Viper, at Great America, IL. We waited in line for about 20 minutes and as we were getting to the part where we get into the seats, my son Alex (11 yrs) who has a cerebral shunt and doesn't have any side effects from the rides, said he didn't want to go-he was a little green! So he and I waited up on the ramp until my husband and daughter Staci (9 yrs) got off. Well, my son and I heard someone screaming and recognized the voice as my daughter's. She has a very recognizable stage voice. My husband who sat next to her said she screamed the entire ride without taking a breath!!! So we often tease her about the ride and we reminisce about that ride every time we go on vacation or a theme park! We could not believe she could scream so loud and so long. Today they both share my husband and my love for roller coaster rides!!
