The 3 caballeros

I am a single parent of a 13 year old daughter. I decided back in 2000 that no matter what I would take a vacation once a year no matter what. I work too hard to not have fun once a year. Fast forward to 2002 this will be the 3rd Disney vacation for mom and daughter who is now 8 . We are walking down Hollywood Blvd. in MGM when my daughter stops dead in her tracks, looks right at me and says..."The best gift I ever got was having a mom who turned out to be my best friend". OK at this time I am a blubbering idiot standing in the middle of the street. I told her that was the nicest thing anyone has EVER said to me that is when she tells me "yeah I saw it on a Hallmark commercial" I couldn't believe it... here I am bawling thinking that I am the best mom in the WHOLE world, all because my daughter can recite commercials... That's when she say "I know it is from a commercial but I really do mean it"... I could have cared less where she got it fromI felt like the world best mom that day!!!!!
Since 2000 we have been to Disney 9 times and are currently mentally planning our 10th.. We have such and extremely strong mother daughter bond and being in Disney always seems to strengthen it.. It is our "HAPPY PLACE"...
