Princess Addy touches the Cinderella Castle

by Daisey5555 July 06, 2008

Last November we took a family trip to Walt Disney World, there was myself (Grandma), my husband, our daughter and her family her husband, daughter Addison 2 and her son Noah 5 weeks (oops planned the trip first) and our son a big kid at 27. When we told Addy that she was getting to go to Walt Disney World she asked if she could please just touch the Princess Castle. We were pleased to tell her oh yes you can touch the Princess Castle. When we arrived to WDW we stayed at The Beach Club the check in staff was wonderful when she learned that her greatest dream was to touch the castle and meet Cinderella she had a special gift sent to the kid's room a photo of Cinderella in front of the Castle and it was autographed with a balloon attached. Addy was thrilled! The next day when we arrived to the Magic Kingdom she ran through tunnel to the entrance of main street and there was the Princess Castle she gazed in amazement. Addy looked at us and asked if she could go touch it? As we walked up to the Castle she slowed down walked up to the wall and just gazed we told her "go ahead and touch it" she did and I think she would have stayed there all day if she could have she didn't want to let go. It was one of the most touching moments I have witnessed I shed a tear or two. Later in the trip she got to meet Cinderella oh what a smile appeared on her face. It was such a magical trip. We can't wait to get her back to WDW.
