Favorite Vacation Moment

Walt Disney World

My son met Peter Pan

by thx1206  January 16, 2011 | Son: Age 10

Do you want to come to Never Never Land with me??

On our second family trip to WDW, we had a quiet moment with Peter Pan. My son was ready, autograph book in hand, and since he had recently seen the movie on DVD, he was totally enthralled by seeing one of his favorite movie characters up close and in person! It really made this day in the Magic Kingdom truly magical! Because my son was five, I didnt think that he would believe in the characters any longer, but because this person was in costume, it really gave him an air of authenticity to my son. He even told my son that he was going back to Never Never Land at the end of the day, to see the Lost Boys, and boy, did this impress my little guy! I just love how the picture captures his smile and his shy smile at meeting one of his heroes. It really shows what WDW is all about for kids.
