Birthday Princess for a Day!

by liasophiamommy  March 11, 2008

Im a real PRINCESS!!

I wanted to surprise my daughter for her 5th birthday with a trip to Disney World.br/So, I packed everything wed need, and a few days before her birthday we got on a plane.br/She had no idea where we were going....on her birthday, she woke up in our hotel room surrounded by balloons and presents. After opening gifts, we ate breakfast and headed to Magic Kingdom. She then figured it out when she saw the entrance and Mickey and Minnie on either side! We entered the park, and went to City Hall to pick up her birthday pin and Princess Party tickets for later that evening, and lo and behold - Goofy had left a message at the desk for her! She felt so special! At noon, we had an appointment at the Bippidy Boppity Boutique in the Castle - she could hardly believe it. So, she had her makeover and when Sandra her fairy Godmother in training spun her around so she could see herself - it was the best moment ever! She truly felt like a princess! The best part - the photographer captured it all! After that, we then headed to our dinner reservation with Cinderella, the Prince, Lady Tremaine, Anastasia and Drizella! She hardly sat in her seat everytime each one was announced! She would take a bite and then be looking for them to come to our table! After dinner, we exchanged our tickets for wristbands for the Princess/Pirate Party being held that evening. She was so excited to be able to get on the rides with little or no wait. She even talked some of the Cast Members into letting us stay on some of the rides 4 and 5 times. She felt truly special and figured out quickly that the Birthday Pin could help her out! Thanks to all of Disney for a very very special 5th birhtday - the Photo Pass was wonderful, our family back home could see her excitement even before we returned.
