Pirate Tutorial

During our last Disney Vacation April 19-27 2007 we stayed at the Grand Floridian and we are going back again soon. The Hotel is absolutely beautiful and the location and convenience to MK is the best of all DW resorts. br/br/Our best Disney moment was at the MK during a Pirateâ¬"s of the Caribbean â¬Sstreetâ¬ý show. We just happened to be walking by and a CM was putting out a long rope near the side entrance and I asked him what was going on. He told me he was getting ready for next performance, which was to start in a few minutes. I asked my daughter, age 7, if she wanted to watch and she said yes. We sat next to the rope and watched as the CM finished his props and the crowd began to form. As the show started, they began to pick children from the crowd to be â¬SPirateâ¬"s in Trainingâ¬ý. As luck would have it our daughter was one of the ones picked. We had no idea what she was in for but she joined the rest of the wide-eyed kids and the show began. br/br/Each child goes through a small skit that involves sword fighting the 1st Mate with a wooden sword. The crowd gets into it and the 1st Mate and Captain Jack are in full character. The skit continued for each child with the same results, a fatal blow to the 1st Mate as the crowd distracts him. The last child to go was my daughter and she had been watching the other kids and was ready to battle the 1st Mate. However, they save the best for last, Captain Jack stepped in and took his place for the fight with my daughter! The crowd went nuts and my daughter was now the star of the show fighting the legendary Captain Jack Sparrow. Thank god I had the video running. A â¬SMagic Momentâ¬ý and a memory for a lifetime. Thank you Disney! br/
