Favorite Vacation Moment

Walt Disney World

"5 Star Meal"

by 713scootch  March 07, 2008

***** Five Star Breakfast of Champions

In November of 2006, I went to Walt Disney World with my two young daughters and my 21 year old neice Lindsey, who was dying of cancer. Sweet Lindsey passed away exactly 4 months after our wonderful vacation. While in Magic Kingdom, we kept smelling the funnel cakes, but never seemed to make our way to them, or at least make our way to them when we were hungry. So one morning, we arrived at the park just before opening, and while everyone else was hurrying to their favorite ride, Lindsey, my girls and I went straight to the funnel cakes..... for BREAKFAST. As Lindsey sat there enjoying her funnel cake, she said, "now this is my idea of a 5 Star Meal!" That moment will be forever in my heart. We love and miss you sweet Lindsey and I hope they have lots of funnel cakes in heaven.
