The Trip to Tallahassee, Florida

Florida
My greatest vacation was when I went to Tallahassee, Florida with my family in 1998. My first family trip in actuality was horrible, but the idea of spending a vacation with family was the paramount. Only thing that was wrong with the trip was the transportation.
Imagine your family riding in many cars with each car holding about 6 or 7 people. All I could remember from that 6 hour trip to Tallahassee is my little cousin with her impatience asking ever other minute are we there yet. As I answered her â¬Sweâ¬"re almost thereâ¬ý, I also felt a little impatient with the thought about lying in the hotel bed. Regardless of the fact that it was 2 oâ¬" clock everyone was wide awake with their face glued to the window as they did the mile count down. Once we got to the hotel it felt like the apocalypse was over and I was walking into heaven. As I did the television commercial glance with my eyes doing a circular 360 look around. As I looked at the hotel I came to the conclusion that this family vacation may actually be a great success.
Things only got better. As I walked into the room that I shared with my older cousin George that I secretly idolized as the guy who could do anything, I looked out the window and almost fainted. This room had the view of the beach. The scene was beautiful with the moons light being reflected of the soft current of the water. While I looked astonished, my cousin like usual looked at the view with only one comment: â¬SItâ¬"s straightâ¬ý. Regardless of his nonchalant attitude I jumped in my bed with the belief that Tallahassee is actually the place to be. As I forced myself to shut my eyes like that kid a little to excited the night before Christmas, I decided that this was going to be the greatest vacation that Iâ¬"ve ever experienced.
As I woke up from the screaming noises from the hallway that I embarrassingly knew was my kin, I was ready to go to the beach. The beach was stunning. It was like the moon had a day shift working known as the sun making it seem as if I was in a James Bond movie. It seems like when you go with a lot of people places like the beach are more entertaining. I donâ¬"t know how it worked out, but sitting on the beach, playing Marco Polo, and catching crabs kept me preoccupied the whole day. That night was the excitement of the trip.
We went to some little gaming place in the middle of the city. Everyone in my family ended up racing each other on the go karts. Iâ¬"ll never forget the smile on my grandfatherâ¬"s face after I bumped him and passed him on the left. My little cousin before the race forgot about winning the race and I guess go the go karts mixed up with bumper cars as they crashed into everybody. After the race we all went to the carnival and rode all the rides. As I sat on top of the Ferris wheel as I liked my cotton candy, I came to the conclusion that this was the life and that the vacation was the greatest.
