There is no generation gap at Disney!!
by SandSPohl March 31, 2008
This was our first Disney trip with our family and we went for 3 weeks at Christmas. We camped at Fort Wilderness with 6 kids in a camper for 3 weeks!! (That feat itself must deserve some award somewhere!!) After a year and a half of planning this trip, it was as fantastic as we imagined. Everyone had a grand time and has a different favorite memory. We were there celebrating my parents 40th wedding anniversary and thankfully they camped too and we were next to each other.
This is a picture of one of my favorite memories and happens to be taken on Christmas Day at Christmas at the Fort (usually known as Mickey's Backyard BBQ except on Christmas). Mima's on the floor dancing and the preteen boy (yeah, Disney can get anybody to dance!!) ran out to join her. Suddenly the 7-year-old is looking around for someone to dance with, spies those two and runs to join in. It happens to be one of my favorite memories not just because they're dancing with their grandma, but because of the pure joy and happiness on all their faces that happened to be captured at the exact same time.
