Araiyah's first trip to the Beach 2008

My husband and I went to Madeira Beach, Florida last August for a family weekend. We took our 2 year old daughter to the beach for the first time and I will never forget it. She LOVED it!! She kept running from the "bubbles" (foam from the ocean) as they were chasing her up the beach. The funniest thing that probably sounds horrible but it was hilarious, was when the waves were receeding back into the ocean and she was looking down. I guess she experienced a little vertigo and fell smack into the water. I tried to catch her on the way down, but wasn't quick enough. She just stood up, wiped off her face and laughed. After I realized she wasn't hurt I began to laugh too. She wanted to stay at the beach all day (we couldn't....hurricane Fay was still affecting the weather there). Now everytime she sees the ocean on tv, see screams," Beach!! Beach!!" We hope to take her again one day so she can build a sand castle!!
