Oh, so humbled!

Capital Hill with the Olsons
Up until the time of our flight to Washington, D.C. my entire family was suffering
from the stomache flu. We arrived in D.C. weakened, but anxious to begin
touring the city. My son, Eric, was the last to be sick, so still felt the worse as
we walked along the Mall area near the capitol. He had stashed a bottle of
enhanced water in his pocket for the day. His younger sister was begging him
to share just a sip of his water with her as we walked. As older brothers will do
to younger sisters, he refused. While we waited at a crosswalk, he was waving his
bottle around and teasing his sister. To his dismay, the bottle fell from his hand and
landed on the street. If you can imagine his face and surprise, when the bottle hit
the street, rolled back and went right down into the sewer drain. Even another gentlemen
on the street had to laugh at his misfortune. Maybe next time he will share?
