Safe in the Shallows, Sand and Shells

Bayside at bethany beach

While camping on the bayside of Bethany , we found a state park we were able to walk to. The park had a beautiful beach with shallow water, lots of sand, birds, fish, horseshoe crabs, and shells. My girls were thrilled they were able to explore on their own and my husband and I were delighted we could relax and enjoy the day knowing our girls were safe in the shallow water and learning about our wildlife and beach habitats. It was the first beach vaccation where everyone had a relaxing, enjoyable day.
