Riding a Hog in Denver!

I will never forget the expression on my kids' faces when we went to the Denver Zoo last summer. My husband and I were celebrating our 10th wedding anniversary, and decided to take a roadtrip with our children to the area of the country where I grew up. The kids had to experience the zoo, but what they didn't count on is when they were looking at the lions through the glass, one charged and made them both sqeal. The lion wasn't angry; it just seemed like it was showing off for the crowd. My kids were both impressed and a little scared, and they will never forget their "encounter" with the big kitty! They also loved trying all the different rides and games at a Mexican restaurant called Casa Bonitas.
