Favorite Vacation Moment

So mad she fell asleep. Poor thing.

We live in Colorado and have not had the pleasure of visiting Disney World so I hope you donÃ¢Â¬"t mind a San Diego story. We visited San Diego in 2005 and 2006. Both times we were lucky enough to get in to Sea World and let the kids see the sea life. In 2005, at the dolphin show, my son (5) was picked to pet the dolphins. My daughter (3) was upset that she couldn't go too. So being the good parents we told her "next time they pick our family to be in the dolphin show you can go".

Fast forward almost one year exactly and we were back in San Diego and got to visit Sea World again. Of course we had to go to the dolphin show again. And sure enough as fate would have it one of the Sea World staff members came up to us (out of hundreds of people mind you) and said "would your child be interested in being in the Dolphin Show?" My daughter's eyes lit up like stars and she said "I get to pet the fish?"...then the lady said, "I'm sorry sweetheart but you're too small. I was talking about your brother." GASP! Needless to say my daughter was heartbroken. And she was sure to remind us that we promi9sed her she could do it next time. She cried so hard that she fell asleep on the bleachers during the show.

So, I'd love to take her to see all the princesses in Disney World as payback for her not being picked because she was too small. :)
