A Disneyland Anniversary

We had our 1st mini vacation @ Disneyland & it was incredible!!! We could never have imagined how f-u-n & memorable it was going to be.

When we got into the Hotel to register, we were warmly greeted by the staff. After finding us in the computer, the cast member smiled & handing us "Disneyland, Happy Anniversary" pins with the condition that we had to wear them the whole time of our stay. Also she continued, "You have been upgraded to one of our Suites"!!!!! I was almost in tears, I couldn't believe what I was hearing! Everyone in the staff was wishing us a Happy Anniversary the 2 days we were there ... it took a few times to figure out how they knew ... the pins! Even Pluto was jumping up & down clapping & pointing at our pins!!

We had to wait & the anticipation I thought would kill us if the heat didn't get us first (Can you say Heatwave). Our room wouldn't be ready until 3pm, so we just wondered around for an hour & then got a comp key to the Never land Pool & dove in! Wow, it was great!

Well, 3pm f-i-n-a-l-l-y came around & we got our key headed up to our Sweet, I mean Suite ... it was sooooo B-e-a-u-t-i-f-u-l ... I was in shock! We were in the Dream Tower - 10th floor - The view was amazing both inside & out. I later found out after calling the front desk and thanking them silly ... that we were their "Magical Family" in connection with their "Year of a Million dreams" ... Yes, US!!!

After Husband & the kids got up to the room from swimming for a few hours, everyone had to take a quick bath & change then it was off to get some Pizza, Yummy!! We came back to the hotel ... & guess what was in there waiting for us???!!! 6 Mickey cookies & an ice bucket containing 6 milks ... another gift from Disneyland!!! Is that cool or what!

With so much excitement & fighting sleep deprivation, (knowing that once the light was turned off it would all be over) we finally decided to turn the light out ... "Tinkerbell's pixie-dust" border on the top of the wall was glowing, another gift that this time they didn't even know they gave!!

Everyone slept good that night!

Thank you Disneyland for a magical gift!
