Monsoons, Lightning, and Bordom Oh My!

by LiloOme25  March 11, 2008

Im having too much Fun!

We planned our summer vacation to go visit my Husbands Parents in Arizona two years ago. Our son then eight years old, wanted to go to Disneyland. My Husband told him we would have a much better time visiting Family and plus there is so much to see in Arizona! Well, little did we know the weather was against us! As soon as we arrived, so did the Monsoons. The whole week we had to stay inside due to lightning striking close and non-stop rain. My son was so bored out of his mind and he constantly reminded us of how much fun he was having. He even came out of the bathroom with his hair and shirt wet. I asked, " what the heck are you doing?" He said he just got off the splash mountain ride and it was so cool!! Now hes going to its a small world, the bedroom we stayed in at his grandmothers. That is where he took pictures of himself having so called fun. He said that was worst time of his life! We thought it was a funny and bad vacation in one. We did dare to go back last year and he had a fit! We were able to go out and site see and had a good time. But of course, he still is trying to get his Dad to take him to Disneyland.
