Grand Canyon 07
If you are going to see the Grand Canyon, plan on spending a couple of days or more. When we went, ( last Thanksgiving) we only had the afternoon of the arrival, and the next morning. Not enough time to see alot of the park. If you are driving, and don't have an RV. I would suggest staying in the park or just outside in one of the local hotels. It's a long drive from the highway (more then an hour) and thats a long turn if your planning a few day visit. There is a train from the town just off the highway, ( I think Williams) that goes to a from the park each day. This is an alternative to driving. If you like the out doors, or american history, this is a deffinate entry to the bucket list.
