Mom, maybe we should have gone to Disney World

The Grand Canyon
After having been to Disney World a few times and totally loving it, my husband decided that we should take our children to Arizona so they could experience the many WONDERS of the great West. I have always been a die hard Disney girl and my children were of the same cloth! However, I relented, knowing that it was our duty to educated our children in the beauty of the varied geography of the US.
We happily arrived in Phoenix and woke the next morning to super weather and an inviting pool. Life was spectacular. By mid-day, we began our journey to Sedona, where we were sure to experience life like the cowboys. Boy were we cold! Believing we had left the snow and cold behind us in Tennessee, we lookied forward to sunny Arizona days. The next day, we packed up and headed to The Grand Canyon! It is truly an unbelievable site. All of the glory of life in one breathtaking canyon! As we exited the car, it began to snow and snow. The temperature had also dropped signifcantly as we had climbed nearly 4000 feet by car. Right at the start of our hike on the rim, our son exclaimed with chattering teeth and blue lips, "mom, maybe we should have gone to Disney World". You can imagine my husbands face at that moment. With great hesitation, a deep breath, blue lips and chattering teeth, he replied "maybe you're right"!
