Animal Kingdom Thrillseekers: Kilimanjaro Safaris
This ride, which simulates an African photo safari, is the premier attraction of the Animal Kingdom. Guests board lorries for a 2-mile ride through the savanna and an up-close glimpse of free-roaming wildlife including giraffes, hippos, elephants, and lions. The story line is that you're helping the reserve's game warden look for elephant poachers who have abducted a baby elephant, Little Red.

Thrill factor for ages 2-4: One star. The ride gets pretty wild, especially toward the end when you're chasing down poachers.
Thrill factor for ages 5-7: Two stars. Kids this age are more likely to be able to spot the animals hiding in the bush.
Thrill factor for ages 8-11: Three stars. Bring along a camera for older kids; this ride is full of photo-ops.
