Magic Kingdom Thrill Seeker: Tom Sawyer Island

From our provider: FamilyFun

A getaway playground full of caves, bridges, forts, and windmills, Tom Sawyer Island is a good destination when the kids get too rambunctious to handle. The big drawback? The island is accessible only by raft, which means you'll wait to get there and wait to get back.

Age Group: Mostly for kids 5-11

Height Restriction: None

Fastpass: No

Thrill factor for ages 2-4: One star. The terrain is too rough and widespread for preschoolers to play without constant adult supervision. Young kids are better off in the playgrounds in Toontown.

Thrill factor for ages 5-7: Two stars. The perfect spot to blow off steam.

Thrill factor for ages 8-11: Two stars. The perfect spot to blow off steam.

Thrill factor for ages 12 and up: No stars. Teens needn't bother making the trip.

Insider's Tip: Aunt Polly's Dockside Inn, the island fast-food restaurant, is a pleasant and unrushed spot to get lemonade and chicken for lunch.
