Lights, Camera, Action: 14 Places to Live the Movies

full star full star full star full star full star Rated by 2 members

In honor of the plethora of movies that are released in the fall and winter, check out this countdown of some of our favorite "movie sets" around the country where you are sure to feel like you've walked into one of your favorite films.

#14: London, England: Harry Potter

Harrypotter

If you ask a porter at King's Cross Station where you can find platform 9 3/4ths, you might not get the same strange looks Harry Potter received when he asked in "Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone." That's because hundreds of kids come everyday to the famous London train station in search of the mythical portal to the Hogwarts Express. But be careful: You have to run toward the post between platforms 9 and 10 to get there, and if it doesn't open, you might start seeing visions of Dementors.

Next: Apostle Islands, Wisconsin
