Epcot Thrill Seeker: World Showcase, Norway Pavilion -- Maelstrom
Your Viking ship sails through fjords and storms, over waterfalls, and past a three-headed troll. Sounds terrifying, but the actual ride is tame enough for most kids to enjoy.

Thrill Factor for Ages 2-4:
No stars. The darkness, swirling mists, and gruesome trolls may be a bit much for preschoolers.

Two stars. A fun ride in a neat setting.

Two stars. A fun ride in a neat setting.
Thrill Factor for Ages 12 and Up:
One star. The ride's a bit of a yawn -- but the teenaged boys we surveyed did rate the Norwegian girls as the best-looking in the entire World Showcase.
Insider's Tip: The Viking ship-styled play area, located to the left of the Norway pavilion, is a good place to wait with kids too young for the ride.
