she really knows what she is doing with those cents-off vouchers. "I regularly match sale ads from the various stores with manufacturer and store coupons," she says, which allows her to stockpile cheap or free items.

adding to BuckeyeChristy's comment about using ebay. I use www.fatfingers.com to search ebay. It searches ebay using typos. On some of the items, you'll find that you're the only bidder! I also use www.ambiedeals.com to find online sales on many different types of items.

I have four children and have learned the only way to shop for less is to buy clothes a season ahead and I save the clothes that still are wearable to hand down to the younger children. Instead of buying expensive pj's, I let the girls sleep in my old shirts, which they love b/c they were mommies. I also register with all the coupon sites and stores that I visit frequently, so I know when the sales are and have coupons to go along with it. For an added bonus I add my mom to the mailing lists so I get double coupons for diapers and baby food.

When it comes to clothing for kids, I buy ahead on clearance or shop at local upscale consignment stores. Since kids often outgrow clothes before they can wear them out, you can get like-new clothing for a fraction of the price at second-hand stores. eBay is also a great resource for gently used clothing.

#1 is my favorite! How wonderful to have all the shopping done a year early. Then again, my husband thinks I like to control everything.

I found this blog quite interesting, I had never hurd of some of these sites, but they sound quite informative. I'll let you know how I do. I do think the key factor would be finding the time.

My sister is infamous for finding bargains. She always looks great and manages to shop the deals. Where I might shop at Barney's, she can stop in Target and manage to make the unique find. If you have the time and the right fashion sense, bargain shopping is the way to go!
