Are you ready for another scoop of BF goodness?
Well, ready or not, here come some Black Friday deals for the biggest, baddest, craziest and sometimes scariest shopping day of the entire year.
Never fear, Deal Diva is here!
Last week we talked basics ( for BF refresher click here), and now it's time for specifics. And I have to tell you, in total confidence; my mind is a bit of a BF mush right now.
The dollar signs, product lists, store hours, and deals, deals, deals are swirling quite fervently in my deal-lovin' head!
And so, as to not bestow this fate upon you, here are some
of my top picks for this coming Friday:
Okay, so I really, really, really did not want to start here (uh, better not ask, or we'll never get to those deals!)
But, Wal-Mart once again has an incredible list of super BF savings. They are also offering "secret deals" this year that try as I might, I was not able to secure.
Now, consider this: Wal-Mart also will be offering most deals on-line (bookmark this!) as well, and if you venture in-store, Wal-Mart will price match other retailer's BF prices as long as you bring in the competitor's complete store ad.
BF Specials run from 5 a.m. to 11 a.m.
I-Dog
$10 (save 50%)
"Move and groove! Easy to use, simply sit i-Dog in front of a speaker, or plug it into the headphone jack of any handheld music system, and i-Dog will jam along to the rhythm of the song. Comes complete with a dual jack, so your little one can plug their headphones in and dance along to the music with i-Dog!"
Nintendo Game boy Micro (in black, silver, or red)
$39.92 (save 40%)
"The retooled Game Boy Advance SP fits into a coat pocket. Now Nintendo takes aim at the pocket of your tightest jeans with the tiny Game Boy Micro system, quite simply the smallest and sleekest Game Boy product that Nintendo has ever created."
DVD's (many cheaper than a one night rental!)
$1.88 choose from 4 titles, including; Cat and the Hat and Wimbledon
$3.44 choose from 38 titles, including; The Matrix, My Big, Fat, Greek Wedding, the Replacements, and Clifford's Big Movie
The scoop on Kohl's, which is featuring Door-buster specials from 5:00 a.m. to 11:00, is this:
many items (including toys) will be re-stocked throughout the morning, a $10 Kohl's cash award will be given for each $50 purchase per transaction, and that the lines to check out can be excruciatingly long in the wee hours.
So, Kohl's may be a good mid-morning bet.
An added bonus is that many of the door-buster specials will be available on-line from 1:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. (and you know how I feel about shopping in those jammies!)
Entire Stock Toys by Fisher Price, Barbie, Playskool, Tonka and Crayola 50% off
7" Portable DVD Player (with carrying case, earbuds, remote control and adapter)
$49.99 (regular $199.99, sale $79.99, minus $30 mail-in-rebate)
Circuit City and Best Buy
Looking for DVD's, CD's, memory cards, TV's, perhaps a laptop at a killer deal?
Circuit City and Best Buy seem to be the place to be on BF.
Major warning here, if you are looking for one of the incredible jaw-dropping deals, then you'd better start rounding up your sleeping bag soon after you've finished your homemade stuffing.
Yes, you will most likely have to get in line on Thanksgiving Evening to get in on a few of these deals.
Both have also recently released "unadvertised BF specials", which will not be featured in their print BF ads:
