Description

We saved our old Milk and Laundry Jugs and at Halloween we drew scary and silly faces on them, cut a whole in the back, and put in LED flashing lights. They were fun to do. and a huge hit with the kids! NO PUMPKINS WERE HARMED IN THE MAKING OF THESE!

How to Make

  • Saved our Milk Jugs, cleaned them out and let them dry thoroughly.

  • Used permanent markers to draw silly or scary faces.

  • Cut hole in back and put in blinking Pumpkin lights (found at Walmart, CVS, Walgreens or any such store)

    • Tips for Taking a Great Photo:
    • Avoid clutter. Keep the background simple -- your gingerbread house or holiday cookie is the star!
    • Daytime, natural light is best. If your area is bright enough, try taking the photo without the flash.
    • Upload a horizontal photo. If you crop the image on your computer, make sure you keep a landscape 4:3 aspect ratio.
    • For best results, make your image 1200x900 (or "save for web").
    • With a digital camera, you can take as many photos as possible and choose the best one. Have fun!
