Don't be afraid to overcall ahead of time. I kept researching my next trip, and when I wasn't getting satisfactory answers, I called back or sent emails until I got what I KNEW what correct/helpful information. Whatever your destination, they offer unadvertised perks. Like goodie bags for young kids when you check into hotels; gift set amenities for sale; etc. All you have to do is ask! And keep a list of your q's & a's with who you spoke with so you can reference it later when actually making reservations!
